The Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in Šavnik announced that the candidate for councilor of the "For the Future of Šavnik" list, Ivan Žugić, through his account on the social network, is calling for "the battle for Šavnik to begin", with the increasingly famous letter "Z", a trademark of Russia's destruction of Ukraine .
They add in the statement sent to the media that there is no end in sight to the continuation of the mindless actions of the "For the Future of Šavnik" election list.
"After the suspension of the elections, the disallowance of citizens to exercise their right to vote and a series of criminal acts, some councilor candidates are invoking the Ukrainian scenario in our municipality," said the DPS.
They call, as they state, propagators and supporters of war, anti-civilizational celebrants of Russian military aggression that has resulted in numerous civilian victims, to refrain from shamelessly inciting our fellow citizens and disrupting peace and harmony in Šavnik.
"It's high time that reasonable behavior enables the continuation of voting and the democratic expression of the will of the voters, as well as all the democratic principles and achievements on which modern Europe rests," they conclude in the statement.
