Vučurović: Delete "tourists" from the voter's list in Šavnik, DF will continue to defend democracy next Sunday

The Democratic Front (DF) called to "delete 'tourists' from the DPS" from the voter list in Šavnik, because, as they stated, the DF will "defend and defend democratic principles and election rules" in the coming weeks.

"The DF gives full support to our people in Šavnik, who defended democracy and election rules again today, and who prevented some others from committing serious crimes that would falsify the will of the people. If we had allowed it, it would have caused far-reaching harmful consequences only for this municipality, but for the whole of Montenegro, because such criminal actions of the DPS would make the election process pointless," said DF MP Jovan Vučurović.

He said that today's act shows that the DF's first priority is fair elections and full respect for the electoral will of the citizens. This, as stated by Vučurović, would be threatened if those who, he claims, have no connection with that municipality and that part of Montenegro voted in the local elections in Šavnik.

"It is up to the competent authorities to immediately prosecute those from the DPS who agreed to participate in election fraud and to determine who organized this 'election tourism' and these criminal acts on behalf of the DPS. There is no doubt that Milo Đukanović himself has been behind such activities for years. , Duško Marković and parts of the MUP, so on this occasion we direct the prosecution to those addresses, and to leave our people who defended democracy and fair elections alone.

"Also, we call for the immediate deletion of these 'tourists' from the DPS from the voter list, because, of course, the DF will defend democratic principles and election rules in the coming weeks. As for the announcement of the DPS and attacks on the DF, we understand that the political-criminal organization goes into the past, and that's why their anger is understandable," said Vučurović.
