The coalition "Let's seal - the people win-DCG-DSS-ES" started negotiations with the constituents of the current local government in Tivat regarding the formation of a new administration, which will lead the city in the next four-year period.
"The goal of the negotiations is to establish a stable parliamentary majority that will enable the development of the city and the improvement of the city's infrastructure. After the initial negotiations, the will of all was expressed to continue working for the benefit of all citizens of Tivat, to advance and improve the functioning of the municipality. "Representatives of the NP-DCG-DSS-ES coalition demand from all interlocutors maximum responsibility towards the public interest, respect for democratic standards based on the election results in the recent local elections," the "Let's Seal" coalition announced yesterday.
Leader of the Budva Democratic Front and holder of the "Budva First" list, current president of the municipality Milo Bozovic, called for consultations for the formation of the local executive authority for today and invited representatives of the URA Civic Movement, the Socialist People's Party and the Democrats-Demos coalition to the talks. This was confirmed by "Vijesta" in DF Budva.
Consultations will be organized in the afternoon at the offices of the DF, and representatives of the three political parties have been invited separately to the talks.
In the local elections, the electoral list of DF won 18 mandates, URA and SNP one each, and Democrats-Demos four. The local parliament has 33 councilor mandates, which means that even without the other parties, the DF has a majority to exercise power.
When it comes to Tivat, the group led by the current mayor Željko Komnenović (NP) won 10 out of a total of 32 council mandates. In order to form a new parliamentary majority, the NP-DCG-DSS-ES coalition is negotiating with the other constituents of the local administration of Tivat: DF, which has three mandates, Krtoljski List, which has two members, and Tivat Action and Boke Forum, which each have one member. .
If these negotiations bear fruit, the opposition in Tivat will continue to be DPS, which won 12 mandates in coalition with SDP, SD and LP, as well as HGI, which has three councilors.
