Maddox regarding the current political situation: The government and others to refrain from steps that cause further divisions

Karen Maddox, Ambassador of Great Britain to Montenegro, on the occasion of the current political situation, called on the Government and others to refrain from steps that cause further divisions.

She told them on Twitter to instead make additional efforts to promote dialogue and move the country forward together.

He says that the Law (on the President) that was adopted by the Parliament yesterday potentially touches on constitutional issues.

"This situation emphasizes how vital it is to ensure a functional Constitutional Court in Montenegro," Maddox concluded.
