Rmandić disputes the Podgorica elections

Yesterday, the Constitutional Court received two more complaints about the election process, and four are currently before that instance.

The Constitutional Court confirmed that complaints were filed yesterday by the election list "Dr. Božidar Vujičić - Civil Action - For a better Budva" and the Svetosavska srpska lista (SSL), and earlier three were filed from Budva, Plav and Danilovgrad.

The SSL bearer is Mirko Rmandic and he announced a complaint if the leader of Nova Andrija Mandic he did not apologize, as he said, for all the vomiting he organized for them during the past campaign for the Podgorica elections.

Holder of the Uopret election list for Danilovgrad, Vuk Iković, however, announced that he withdrew the appeal he submitted to the Constitutional Court on September 30, stating that they decided that their appeal would not be an obstacle to the timely determination and publication of the final results of the local elections in Danilovgrad. In the elections in that city, DPS and SD won 10 mandates, Europe now eight, Democratic Front five, Democrats four, URA two, and one mandate each was won by the coalition United and True Montenegro, SDP and Citizens, Preokret and SNP.

GI 21 May and the newspaper "Citizens of Danilovgrad naša strength" did not pass the census.

"I am equally convinced today, as I was a month ago when I submitted it, that our appeal is legally founded and that the Municipal Election Commission in Danilovgrad did not have the legal authority to annul the decision by which it confirmed and announced our electoral list the day before," he said. Ikovic.

He pointed out that the purpose of deciding on this appeal was only before the election, and since it did not happen due to the paralysis of the constitutional judiciary, they decided to withdraw the appeal. Iković called on the other applicants to the Constitutional Court, especially those who submitted them after the elections, to withdraw their appeals and thereby enable the constitution of local parliaments and the normal functioning of local administrations.

Three days ago, the State Election Commission (SEC) rejected all 13 objections submitted to the decisions of the municipal election commissions Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Pljevlja, Kolašin and Budva, and the applicants have 48 hours to appeal to the Constitutional Court from the moment the SEC provide solutions. The SEC confirmed that they submitted the decisions on Tuesday by 17:48 p.m., when the XNUMX-hour deadline for appeals to the Constitutional Court began to run.

Although lawyers and the non-governmental sector emphasize that the municipal election commissions cannot announce the final results of the elections within the legal period of 15 days, until the Constitutional Court makes a decision on the submitted appeals, the MEC Budva did so on Tuesday. In connection with the election process in Budva, two appeals were filed before the Constitutional Court, which does not have a quorum for decision-making.

According to the final results of the local elections in Budva, the list "Milo Božović - Budva in first place!" - The Democratic Front won an absolute majority - 18 mandates. The list "The real thing, the coalition Unique for Budva - Dragana Mitrović" - DPS, SDP, SD, LP and GI 21 May" nine mandates, and the list "Dragan Krapović - Let's go people! - Democrats - Demos" for four terms.

The list "SNP - Temeljno za Budva" and "Dr Dritan Abazović - Može Budva!" won one mandate each. Montenegro can do it! - Civil movement URA".

The lists "Dr. Vujičić Božidar - Civil action - For a better Budva" and "Luka Liješević - True Montenegro - We keep our word - Marko Milačić" did not pass the census.

The final election results were also announced by the Zeta MEC, but the participants in the elections in the youngest municipality did not submit appeals to the Constitutional Court. The coalition gathered around DPS complained to the Zeta MEC about the regularity of the elections at polling stations one and eight, but after the Zeta MEC rejected the complaint as unfounded, the DPS did not use the legal opportunity to complain to the State Election Commission.

The list of the Democratic Front won 16 mandates in local elections in Zeta, DPS eight mandates, Democratic Montenegro seven and the Socialist People's Party one mandate.
