The State Electoral Commission rejected as illegal the objection of the candidate for councilor and holder of the election list "Dr. Božidar Vujičić - Civic action - For a better Budva" Božidar Vujičić, who demanded that the final results of the local elections in Budva declared by the Municipal Electoral Commission be annulled.
As stated in the decision, "as the complaint does not refer to the violation of voting rights during the election, the Commission rejected it as inadmissible".
Yesterday morning, Vujičić submitted a complaint to the SEC stating that the MEC made a decision on the announcement of the final results without waiting for 12 hours to pass after the decision of the Constitutional Court on the appeals he filed, requesting the annulment of the decision on the announcement of the final results of the local elections.
After the decision of the SEC, the president of the MEC Đorđe Vujović said that the decision on the announcement of the final results had been submitted to the Official Gazette for publication.
