MP and leader of the Right of Montenegro, Marko Milačić, said that anyone who protests against the Law on the President "gives his vote and advocates for dictatorship and autocracy" and that the fate of citizens "is governed by the will of only one man".
Tonight, a protest is planned in front of the Parliament building in Podgorica, which was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs by the Forum of Free Citizens "Luča".
Citizens were invited to the protest by officials of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the leader of that party and the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Social Democrats of Montenegro (SD)...
"These days we are witnessing another cowardly act directed by the Democratic Party of Socialists. Namely, after the parliamentary majority previously voted to amend the Law on the President, DPS officials in the manner of political cowards, hidden behind the non-governmental organization Forum of Free Citizens "Luča", through social networks invite citizens to a protest rally, scheduled for today in front of the building of the Parliament of Montenegro," Milacic said in a statement.
He added that what the DPS you are protesting against is "actually the embodiment of legality and constitutionality, in contrast to many legal acts, which were passed during your reign, and were contrary to the opinion of the vast majority of Montenegrin citizens".
"Nevertheless, you were not interested in the opinion of the citizens of Montenegro even then, as in countless other times. We protested against injustice for decades, and today you are protesting against justice. We protested against lawlessness, you against the law, we against injustice, you against justice , we are against anarchy and selective justice, you are against everyone being equal before the Constitution and laws, including the President who is blocking the state, democracy, who is trying to block life and history, which are torrents that cannot be stopped. You who come out tonight to you are protesting against the Law before which both 'emperor and slave' are equal, know that this protest is paradoxical as it is paradoxical and unnatural that a man demands from himself and renounces his personal dignity, pride, honor and the right of his children to live in freedom, with a dignified life man".
milačić also asked "why would they protest against the fact that the president, whoever he is, must be responsible, benevolent, respect the decisions of the majority, consult the will shown in the elections"
