DPS Šavnik: Election committee members from DF once again prevented the holding of elections

The municipal committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in Šavnik announced that the election process in that city had been turned into a shambles and that the members of the DF election committee had once again prevented the holding of the election.

"All the efforts of our party, the numerous calls we made to the police and the prosecutor's office, were apparently in vain, so the local elections in Šavnik have not ended even today," the statement of the Democratic Party of Socialists Šavnik states.

Once again, as they say, members of the DF election committees prevented the elections from taking place.

Thus, as they add, they made it impossible for voters with the right to vote to freely express their will and exercise their right to vote.

"By repeatedly committing acts that fall under the group of criminal acts against electoral rights prescribed by the Criminal Code of Montenegro, the destructive and primitive people continued their circus," said the party.

They point out that the election process in Šavnik has been turned into a shambles, and therefore completely "meaningless".

"However, in addition to all that, he also showed all the shortcomings of the Montenegrin state system, as well as the fact that the institutions of our country do not function because their representatives did not exercise their powers this time either in order to protect and respect the law and the Constitution of our country," they said. are they.

They say that they are sorry that, by the will of individuals, the Montenegrin public from Šavnik has once again been sent an ugly picture which, as they point out, does not befit either the citizens of Šavnik or the region.

"Finally, we inform the public that the election list "The right thing, We continue to do domestic things for Šavnik", when the conditions for this are ensured, will achieve a convincing victory in Šavnik, and that in this way European, emancipatory and civilized Montenegro will defeat destruction, primitivism and thugs of democracy," concluded DPS.
