Despite the fact that the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) is not in any form a government at the state level, the cadres of that party, as well as some of their satellites, are still distributed in depth, said Democratic Front (DF) deputy Budimir Aleksić.
"It is incomprehensible that the current government continues to tolerate such an incredible situation, that it continues to cultivate a "political bomb" in its ranks in the form of those who were defeated on August 30, 2020," Aleksić pointed out in a statement provided by DF.
As Aleksić says, "those who then defeated the DPS and the satellites and who fought for freedom after several decades of dictatorship are justified in asking why there are well-known hawks and high-ranking officials of the DPS and other parties of the former regime in very important positions."
"For years, they had the opportunity to show what they know, and that's why a very clear question arises, how did the officials of that defeated regime deserve to continue occupying positions in the state apparatus? What did Zoja Bojanić, for example, charge this government and the relevant ministry with? Lalović, to cover the function of director of the Institute for Education, and Biljana Joksimović, Slavica Ilinčić and Marija Lalatović were removed from the ministry," Aleksić stated.
He points out that, "it is simply unbelievable that a DPS official, who is even suspected of corrupt activities, is acceptable as a minister. Also, we don't see what Bogdan Fatić, Radoje Žugić, Vojin Vlahović and other DPS officials have charged someone with, so yes they will continue to be where they should not be".
Aleksić wonders, "who is so condescending and sensitive to the cadres of the former regime?".
"And this is evidence that it is necessary to form a new government as soon as possible, because there is a parliamentary majority to do it," concluded Aleksić.
