Prime Minister Dritan Abazović condemned the hate speech of the Aktuelno portal, addressed to the ambassadors of the United States of America, the European Union and Great Britain.
"On behalf of the Government and myself, I strongly condemn the hate speech of the Aktuelno portal addressed to the EU ambassadors in Montenegro, Oana Kristina Popi, the USA's Judy Reising Reinke, and the Great Britain's Karen Maddox," the Government's announcement states.
Abazović emphasizes that, "by misogynistic attacks, insults and the spread of hate speech, we will not and cannot build a society of true values. The media and journalists, adhering to at least the minimum standards of professional ethics, must not be on the other side of such aspirations".
He points out that "even today, November 25, the International Day against Violence against Women, should be a reminder and warning that regardless of our differences, we are obliged to respect and preserve the integrity of others".
We must raise our voice in the joint fight against gender-based and all other forms of violence, concluded Abazović.
