The Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Savnik announced that "the executive power supports anarchy in Savnik".
"In addition to numerous calls and appeals that we have made, many criminal charges that we have filed, after all the abnormalities witnessed by our fellow citizens from Sunday to Sunday, there is no end in sight to the local elections in Šavnik", according to the announcement of OO DPS Šavnik.
The election process, as they add, was completely rendered meaningless by "monstrous sabotage, destruction, legal and physical violence by DF representatives".
"Unfortunately, their illegal and primitive obstruction, deposed Prime Minister Dritan Abazović justifies it with the words that it is 'a desire to prove himself and some Montenegrin spite', his Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Joković went a step further calling that 'election tourists should not be allowed to vote in Savnik', by which he directly incited coalition allies from DF, their activists and members of election committees to destructive actions towards our fellow citizens. Also, we are witnessing the silence from the ranks of Democratic Montenegro, whose officials have never once condemned the commission of criminal offenses against electoral rights prescribed by the Criminal Code of Montenegro, as well as and suspending the elementary and constitutionally guaranteed right of our fellow citizens to democratically elect their representatives in the local parliament," the announcement states.
It is added that the cited examples are "an indicator that the executive power actually supports anarchy in Šavnik".
"The degree of hopelessness in which this country is found was also shown by the public outcry of Acting VDT Maja Jovanović and Minister Filip Adžić regarding the competence, which gave the Montenegrin public the opportunity to see the stage of dysfunction the country has fallen into. If the entire state apparatus is able to provide that citizens can exercise their civil rights at two polling stations, then this is a defeat for this country and the best indicator that institutions do not exist and that anarchy reigns in Montenegro", concludes the announcement of OO DPS Šavnik.
