The topic of tomorrow's parliamentary session, where the Draft Law on Spatial Planning and Building Construction will be discussed, should be inspiring for the opposition to appear in the Assembly, according to the Speaker of the Parliament, Ivan Brajović.
When asked if, after the meetings with European and American officials and their "soft" pressure on the government and the opposition, there is information about the possible start of the dialogue, Brajović said that the parliament is the only place where it is possible to talk.
He repeated that the previous parliamentary elections received the highest ratings from all international observers, and reminded that it was the largest number of observers since the 2006 referendum.
"Of course, someone can always complain about the results, but in every normal country elections will not be repeated until those who lose win," said Brajović.
He said that it was not about any pressure.
"I also want the opposition to be at the parliament session tomorrow, we will hear a more comprehensive discussion, many different arguments," said Brajović.
According to him, it is good for everyone in Montenegro. "Of course, the members of the opposition must be aware of that"
"I think that the topic that is on the agenda tomorrow should be inspiring for them, and a much bigger reason than some of the previous ones that caused them to appear in the parliament", stated Brajović, adding that this selectivity is a topic for him. completely incomprehensible.
He believes that the upcoming local elections will be a benchmark for what has been done since the elections until today. “As for the SD, I'm sure our passing time will be good on those measurements.
Brajović emphasized that the law that will be discussed in parliament tomorrow is very complex and important.
"That's why I would like as many opposition MPs as possible to appear and participate in the discussion", said Brajović.
According to him, the proposal of that law is still before the working bodies of the Assembly.
"That law causes a lot of dilemmas, we have heard a lot of criticism, and we will see what will happen with the Proposal until tomorrow's session and during the discussion. The position of the SD will depend on that," added Brajović.
