The discussion on the election of judges of the Constitutional Court will continue tomorrow, in order to consider some other solutions for getting out of the current crisis, such as the formation of a concentration government.
After the meeting, only the head of the Club of Deputies of the opposition Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) addressed the journalists briefly. Danijel Zivkovic who said it was agreed that the talks would continue tomorrow.
The other participants did not want to make statements, with the explanation that such was the agreement.
Several "VijestI" sources said that at the beginning of the meeting there were strong positions, but then the willingness to consider all proposed solutions was expressed.
One source said that the DPS showed its willingness to consider several options, among other things, to elect all four judges of the Constitutional Court and form a concentration government, whose main task would be to change electoral laws, elect the supreme state prosecutor, and fulfill the requirements of the "European agenda". ...
Another interlocutor said that the idea of a concentration government came from the DPS.
The constitutional deadline of three months for the formation of a new government expired on November 20. In that case, as part of the ruling majority believes, the solution could be the adoption of amendments to the Law on the President in order to return the process of electing the Government back to the beginning - that is, proposing a representative.
DPS did not respond to "Vijesta" whether they are ready to consider the new proposals that were heard yesterday.
After the failed first attempt on October 21, MPs will vote again for judges of the Constitutional Court on Monday, and a three-fifths majority of 49 MPs is required, which means that a consensus of the government and the opposition is necessary.
The DPS previously made the election of at least one judge of the Constitutional Court conditional on the withdrawal of amendments to the Law on the President and the determination of the date of extraordinary parliamentary elections.
Yesterday's meeting was initiated by DPS, and they attended it Boris Bogdanovic (Democratic Montenegro), Dragan Ivanovic (Socialist People's Party), Slaven Radunović (Democratic Front), Branko Radulović (Movement for Change), Ivan Brajović (Social Democrats), Genzi Nimanbeg (Force), Kenana Strujić Harbić (Bosniak Party), Draginja Vuksanović Stanković (Social Democratic Party) i Srđan Pavićević (CIVIS).
The president of the club of deputies of the DPS, Danijel Živković, stated in a letter to the parliamentary clubs that he is convinced that through dialogue, at least the minimum consensus, necessary for the unblocking of the institutions, will be reached.
