Pavićević: Bosniak admits that as a privileged person, she got an apartment under favorable conditions, and paid the entire 12.757,50 euros for it
A member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Aleksandar Pavićević said that the Vice-President of the Assembly and MP of the Movement for Change, Branka Bošnjak, "in fact" only after his pointing out, "admitted that she received an apartment under favorable conditions as a privileged person" from the University of Montenegro.
"I am glad that I reminded her of that, just as I will remind her of the contract under which she paid 50 euros for 12.757,50 square meters of her living space in an exclusive location in Podgorica.
"After labeling and calling out other civil servants who received apartments or loans from the state in a legal and transparent manner, citizens are right to ask what makes Mrs. Bošnjak more privileged and more valuable than those she labels? Apart from all that based on the information available in the media we could see that the respected Mrs. Bošnjak built her academic career by violating the positive norms of our country," Pavićević announced, and added:
"Namely, she illegally advanced in obtaining academic status when she was elected assistant for an indefinite period in 1999, and then assistant professor in 2003.
"Thus, in 1999, a Bosniak was elected to the position of assistant for an indefinite period with part-time work, which is completely contrary to the then valid regulations of the Law on the University, which stipulated, among other things, that assistants could only be elected for four years and could be re-elected only once.
"After that, Mrs. Branka Bošnjak was elected to the position of assistant professor for an indefinite period with part-time work, which was not in accordance with the then valid University Act, which stipulated that assistant professors could be elected for a period of five years.
"Now that we see that Ms. Bošnjak was elected first as an assistant, and then as an assistant professor, for an indefinite period with part-time work, and that she is characterized by exactly what she wants to impute to DPS officials - abuses and inaction," added Pavićević. and concluded:
"I believe that Mrs. Bošnjak will not remain silent even to these undeniable facts and that she will try to find 'some thin' justification, but certainly that the Montenegrin public expects that, after all these disclosed scandals, she at least does not advertise on the topic of the allocation of apartments and loans as that's what he likes to say to 'privileged persons', and that he will no longer give moral sermons to anyone, least of all to members of our party".
