The holder of the DPS-SD list for the local elections in Šavnik and the current president of that municipality, Jugslav Jakić, said that people in Mojkovac and Podgorica should be asked if they know the Cerovićs "who voted there until yesterday".
Jakić said this in response to the question of whether he had heard of the surname Šaler in the Šavnica region, asking whether he or someone in the city needed to know anyone in order to exercise the right to vote, or whether he exercised that right based on the fact that he was registered in the voter register by law. the list.
When asked whether the elections should be postponed and repeated in the spring, he said that this proposal by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović does not deserve any comment.
"It's the same government policy again. It seems to me that last Sunday he accused the prosecutor's office, that they are responsible for the fact that elections cannot be held in Šavnik, and today, when he was probably invited by the Democratic Front, a different story is being told," he said. Jakic.
He added that if Abazović has constitutional and legal powers, "he should act freely."
"It wouldn't surprise us either, given the situation you see happening in Montenegro. If we went from a country that was in the lobby of the European Union to almost being ostracized by the international community. What's more for us, and I believe the public, the constant weekly change of policy and opinion on the part of the Government is an eye-sore. Even today, you are witnessing the interruption of elections. Surely such a statement by Abazović contributed to the continuation of such behavior," believes the current mayor of the Municipality of Savnik.
Jakić sees the way out of this crisis in competent state institutions.
"However, you can see what those answers are, that they are confused and not clear. The first week you have accusations between the executive and legislative authorities, today you have a different story when the prime minister comes to Šavnik and they serve him information that is not correct or half-correct and with such inf is released to the public. Let the competent institutions do their job, I am sure that the international community is watching what is happening in Savnik and that the entire context in Montenegro and Savnik is clear," emphasized Jakić.
