The new city administration, which was elected by the citizens in the previously held local elections, will be formed soon despite all the obstructions of the outgoing city administration.
This was announced by the winners of the elections in the capital, Jakov Milatović, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, Danilo Saranović and Luka Rakčević, who today laid a wreath at the monument to the Partisan fighter in Gorica, in honor of December 19, the day Podgorica was liberated.
In a joint statement, they pointed out the importance of the mentioned date, as well as the need for a new liberation of Podgorica in accordance with the clearly expressed electoral will.
"We had the special honor to lay a wreath on the monument to the Partisan fighter today, 78 years after the liberation of our city, and pay our respects to those who laid down their lives for our freedom," they said.
That is why, as they state, by laying the wreath together, we wanted to send a message of harmony and togetherness, which the capital city needs - as a basis for further democratization and development.
