The official handover of duties between the former President of the Municipality of Kolašin Marta Šćepanović (DPS) and the newly elected President of the Municipality Vladimir Martinović (Democrat) took place today.
As Šćepanović said, that act is "part of the democratic tradition and responsibility towards the citizens of Kolašin".
The new President of the Municipality thanked the previous President for handing over his duties and said that "the development interests of Kolašin and its citizens will always be in the foreground".
As part of the official handover, Martinović and Šćepanović jointly opened the New Year's bazaar on Trg boraca.
Martinović was elected to the position of President of the Municipality on Sunday, December 18. Šćepanović has held that position since June 5 of this year. She succeeded her party colleague Milosav Bulatović, who resigned in mid-May.
