Zenka: It is unacceptable for the future prime minister to be Lekić, who supported the policies of Slobodan Milošević

For the Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA), it is unacceptable for Demos MP Miodrag Lekić to be the new mandate holder and future prime minister, because, as they say, he supported the policy of the former president of the FRY, Slobodan Milošević.

"For the Democratic Union of Albanians, it is unacceptable that the composition of the next Montenegrin government should be made up, and that the prime minister of our country should be a man who during the Kosovo war openly and publicly supported Milošević and his crimes in Kosovo," announced the president of that party, Mehmed Zenka.

DUA and the Albanians in Montenegro are, as he said, oriented towards Euro-Atlantic politics and "they cannot in any way support the lovers of genocidal politics as well as open Balkan politics which is a camouflage for the Serbian world".

"It is unacceptable for us, as well as for all citizens who think about the future of Montenegro, to accept a return to the past, as it was in the 90s, when it is generally known what status minorities had in Montenegro," the announcement states.

Zenka emphasized that his party believes that the only way out of the crisis is extraordinary elections, not another "failed government".
