First, the weeks of repeat elections in Šavnik were counted and the number nine was reached. Now we are counting the weeks of non-holding of repeated voting at the remaining two polling stations, the building of SO Šavnik and the village of Kruševice, and we have reached the number of five.
Thus, voting will not be held this Sunday either, and as President of the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) Dušan Radanović told "Vijesta", members of the MEC failed to agree on the holding of elections this week as well as the previous four.
"And this time, four members voted for the elections to be held on January 29, while the remaining four members abstained," said Radanović.
The 541st voter has the right to vote at the remaining two polling stations.
The reason for repeating the election is the incidents and a large number of irregularities that marked the elections in that Poddurmitor town during nine weeks last year, starting on October 23.
At the 21st polling station, 1.231 out of 1.968 voters voted. According to the results so far, the opposition coalitions have 121 votes more than the ruling DPS-SD.
