From Kotor, we are starting a tour of all municipalities with the aim of sending a message that Montenegro, despite all the problems it faces, is on the right track, said Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazović.

As stated in the Government announcement, he, together with the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović, Minister of Health Dragoslav Šćekić and Minister of Sports and Youth Vasilij Lalošević, is on an official visit to the Municipality of Kotor, where they were welcomed by the President of the Municipality Vladimir Jokić and his associates.

"Kotor is the city that generates the greatest value in Montenegro, which is not measured only by economic parameters," added Abazović.

The announcement states that delegations from the Government and the Municipality visited the walls of the Old Town.

"On that occasion, Jokić pointed out the necessity of conservation of the ramparts and the engagement of a renowned foreign company with which the Municipality previously cooperated, and for which the support of the state is necessary in that context," the announcement reads.

They also visited the Kotor General Hospital, where they talked with the director, Davor Kumburović, about the Government's intention to declare that institution a regional health center.

In the announcement, they state that Jokić emphasized that Kotor may have the fewest financial demands towards the state, but that the state needs to open up space in terms of administrative obstacles.

"There is a willingness to help solve those problems. In addition to having critical points that we have to solve together, we also have joint successes. We are in a hospital that is formally becoming a regional center and we have visited the walls, and we are creating a precondition for signing a Memorandum with state to conserve the ramparts in the coming period so that they get the shine they deserve, and thus to write our generation into history for centuries to come," said Jokić.

They conclude that the delegation of the Government and the Municipality, together with the Minister of Sports and Youth Vasilij Lalošević and the Director of the Directorate for Capital Projects Esmin Bećović visited the location of the sports hall in Rakite, the realization of which has been delayed for 15 years.
