The Minister of Finance, Aleksandar Damjanović, stated that he is a supporter of the idea of reconstructing the current government from the winning parties in the 2020 elections.
In an interview with the Beta agency, he said that he does not see extraordinary parliamentary elections on the horizon.
Commenting on the frequent mention in the public of the possibility of electing a new government, Damjanović said that the current government's mandate expires, according to regular elections, in September 2024 and that the current government, regardless of the loss of confidence in the parliament, is working at full capacity, that all constitutional obligations are regularly fulfilled executes.
He also reminded that there are negotiations of the current majority, which started, then were stopped, and now, as he added, new initiatives are appearing.
Let us remind you that recently, one of the leaders of the Democratic Front, Milan Knežević, in the show Načisto on TV Vijesti, called on the current parliamentary majority to start a new reconstruction of the government.
