The majority of the SNP councilors are in favor of preserving the ruling coalition in Kolašin, and the majority of the members of the Municipal Board (MOB) are also in favor of this, claims the head of the Councilors' Club, Milija Rovčanin.
SNP is in power with DF and SDP.
"Despite the speculations, the majority of OO members understood that the five-member working body, which may have a different opinion, was created outside the party's Statute. The establishment of that group is a violation of principles, which was confirmed by the absence of the majority of members at the OO session, which took place on Sunday. Out of about 80 members, only 23 were present, and three of us and I left the session immediately, because there was no quorum for decision-making. "I don't know what was the conclusion of the 19 who remained, but I know that the majority of councilors and the majority of OO are in favor of preserving the ruling coalition," said Rovčanin.
He also said that he does not mind the fact that the vice president of the municipality is still Đuro Milošević, the former president of the OO SNP, who resigned from all positions and membership in the party this summer.
It was speculated that the majority of OO members are against the further preservation of the ruling coalition.
Slađana Živković, acting president of the OO SNP, said yesterday that, after consultations with members of the working body, she will announce her position on the situation in the party in writing.
