Representatives of the Democratic Front (DF) will submit to the State Election Commission (SEC) a proposal for the presidential candidacy of one of their leaders, Andrija Mandić, this evening at 19 p.m., it was confirmed to "News" from the SEC.
The New Serbian Democracy (NSD), the Democratic People's Party (DNP) and the Movement for Change (PzP), constituents of the DF, supported Mandić's candidacy in the presidential elections scheduled for March 19.
Both Prava Crna Gora and Radnička Party announced their support for Mandić.
Nominations can be submitted until February 26, and the SEC will publish the list of those who will be in the presidential race no later than March 3.
According to the Law on the Election of the President, if no candidate receives more than half of the valid votes of the voters, a second election round is held in 14 days.
The two candidates who received the largest number of votes take part in it.
The president is elected for five years.
