The Democratic Front (DF) announced that representatives of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the State Election Commission (SEC), "by obstructions to try to stop the certain victory of Andrija Mandić in the presidential elections", represent "the last setback of Milo Đukanović in his political despair and unwillingness to make a decision on entering into the presidential race".
The State Election Commission (SEC) did not determine Mandić's candidacy for the presidency due to incomplete documentation related to signatures of support.
"After the DPS representatives in the SEC asked the Republic Election Commission of Serbia (REC) to check whether Andrija Mandić has a residence and voting rights in Serbia, they are now returning his candidacy for revision for banal and questionable reasons. DF he reminds the public once again that in less than a week he collected over 15.000 signatures of support for the candidacy of Andrija Mandić, and that this action is still ongoing, so that by the end of the day we will have already collected 35.000 signatures of support from citizens of Montenegro with valid ID and JMB numbers - om", it is stated in the announcement.
They also add that "if the legal 'cleaners' from the SEC need it", they will deliver 100 thousand signatures of support.
"Andrija Mandić's victory is unquestionable, because, while others are wandering around looking for his opponent, DF is already on the field, since unlike the candidates of the mafia and embassies, we have a candidate of the people, that's why we know we are winning," the announcement concludes.
