Officials of the United Party submitted signatures of support for the presidential candidacy of the leader of that party, Goran Danilović, to the expert service of the State Election Commission.
Member of the Main Board of United Milivoje Brković said that they demanded to attend the numbering of the forms. He said that they believe that Danilović's candidacy will be announced during the day.
"There are about 3.300 more signatures here," said Brković.
Earlier, after Danilović announced that someone had deleted the signatures he submitted with his candidacy for the presidency, the State Election Commission decided to send that documentation to the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
Danilović said two days ago that after inspecting the SEC, he found that someone deleted data from his forms, making 316 invalid. Earlier on Wednesday, the SEC determined that 2.269 valid signatures were missing for Danilović's candidacy. He was then given a deadline of 48 hours to eliminate the deficiencies.
