The appointment of three judges of the Constitutional Court is important for ending political blockades in Montenegro and speeding up its path towards the European Union (EU), said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon.
She stated on Twitter that together with her Austrian colleague Aleksandar Schallenberg, she welcomes today's news from Montenegro.
"The appointment of three judges of the Constitutional Court restores the functionality of that institution - a significant step for ending the political blockade and speeding up the path to the EU," she stated.
Snežana Armenko, Dragana Đuranović and Momirka Tešić were elected as judges of the Constitutional Court today, while MPs from DPS and BS abstained from voting for Faruk Resulbegović.
