The president of the Social Democrats (SD), Damir Šehović, announced today that the party welcomes the election of judges of the Constitutional Court, and that conditions are being created for the organization of early elections.
Snežana Armenko, Dragana Đuranović and Momirka Tešić were elected as judges of the Constitutional Court today, while MPs from DPS and BS abstained from voting for Faruk Resulbegović.
"I express my satisfaction with the election of three judges of the Constitutional Court, which unfortunately followed five unsuccessful attempts due to the absence of a true inclusive dialogue on this topic, with the expectation that complete agreement will be quickly reached within the minority parties on the fourth candidate," Šehović said on Twitter.
He added that after the unblocking of the Constitutional Court, prerequisites are being created for the successful organization of early elections, which, as he said, obviously represent the only sustainable way to get out of the crisis, that is, to form a government with a true civic, European and Euro-Atlantic orientation.
