This is an important step that restores the functionality of the Constitutional Court ahead of the upcoming presidential elections, as well as the constitutional right to access justice, said Karen Maddox, Ambassador of Great Britain to Montenegro.
She wrote this on Twitter, noting that the United Kingdom welcomes today's election and the quick swearing-in of three judges of the Constitutional Court.
The Parliament of Montenegro today elected Snežana Armenko, Dragana Đuranović and Momirka Tešić as judges of the Constitutional Court, while the MPs of DPS and BS abstained from voting for Faruk Resulbegović.
