Đurović: I expect that in the second round the candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court from among less represented nations will also receive support

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Danijela Đurović, announced today that she expects the fourth candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court from less represented nations to receive the necessary support in the second round of voting.

"A big day for our country. Today, the Parliament of Montenegro elected three female judges of the Constitutional Court and thus finally unblocked the most important judicial instance in the country. I expect that in the second round of voting, the fourth candidate from among less represented peoples will also receive the necessary support, and that way we will create the preconditions. for the establishment of the full functionality of the Constitutional Court and the continuation of our European path. We fulfill our obligations to the citizens who have given us their trust," wrote the President of the Assembly Đurović on Twitter.

The Parliament of Montenegro today elected Snežana Armenko, Dragana Đuranović and Momirka Tešić as judges of the Constitutional Court, while the MPs of DPS and BS abstained from voting for Faruk Resulbegović.
