Varhelji: I welcome the appointment of three judges to the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, the conditions for organizing elections have been created

European Union (EU) Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelji announced today that he welcomes the appointment of three judges to the Constitutional Court of Montenegro.

The Parliament of Montenegro today elected Snežana Armenko, Dragana Đuranović and Momirka Tešić as judges of the Constitutional Court, while the MPs of DPS and BS abstained from voting for Faruk Resulbegović.

"I welcome the appointment of three judges by the Assembly to the Constitutional Court of Montenegro. The restoration of a fully operational court is essential for the stability and functionality of Montenegrin institutions. Now all the conditions have been created for organizing presidential and general elections," Varhelji wrote on Twitter.
