The parliamentary majority is extensively negotiating the reconstruction of the Prime Minister's Government in the technical mandate Dritan Abazović and there are several open questions that they will try to solve in the coming days, "VIjesti" learns.
Abazović's cabinet has not had the confidence of the Assembly since August last year, but in addition, negotiations are ongoing, mainly between the members of the Coalition Together for the Future of Montenegro, whose pillar is the Democratic Front, and GP URA, about its reconstruction. Some sources say that the Democrats are also part of it, while the party claims that this is not true.
One source close to that party states that they are not involved in detail in the negotiations, but that they are led by Abazović, and that there is an agreement in principle that they support him for prime minister and that they expect GP URA to stand behind their presidential candidate Alekse Bečić.
The old - new government is a variant if the mandate Miodrag Lekić fails to compile its own, in order to avoid the possibility that the president of the state Milo Djukanovic dissolve parliament, sources say.
According to "Vijesti" information, DF is expected to join the reconstructed Government, while it is planned to replace the Minister of Capital Investments. Ervin Ibrahimovic. In addition to the fact that the Bosniak Party, of which he is the leader, voted for the dismissal of the Government in the Assembly, Ibrahimović is also bothered by the fact that he will most likely campaign for the DPS leader in the presidential campaign. Milo Đukanović.
According to one source, Ibrahimović's place is planned for a DF official. Also, it could include the leader of the Movement for Change as deputy prime minister Nebojsa Medojevic. However, he for now he did not agree to that, claims another interlocutor, citing as an argument what he publicly and daily communicates - that Abazović is allegedly involved in cigarette smuggling.
There is also disagreement about whether the new government should be formed on the basis of the Law on the President or not.
DF is looking for positions that it would have in the new government of Miodrag Lekić. The problem is that United Montenegro Goran Danilović, according to sources, does not support the reconstruction.
If positions are approximated during the weekend, the president of the parliament Danijela Đurović could already announce a session on the election - reconstruction of Abazović's government by the end of next week.
The President's office did not answer the question of "Vijest" whether Đukanović will dissolve the Assembly after the deadline for forming a new government has expired. On Saturday, after submitting his candidacy for the presidency, he told reporters that he "wouldn't run with it."
"There are various controversies regarding the Law on the President. We need to see what are the constitutional provisions and what are the provisions of the controversial Law on the President. I leave myself a little more time to look at the compatibility of constitutional and legal solutions. It is my obligation to respect the Constitution uncompromisingly", he said.
On Tuesday, Miodrag Lekić, answering the questions of "Vijesti", said that the consultations on the new government will be completed within the time frame stipulated by the law.
"After that, I will publicly summarize the balance sheet, concrete result and possible institutional continuation. Or the impossibility of forming a government, which also happens in democratic states," he said.
He announced a political government, or a technical one if there is no support. GP URA is not interested in this variant, insisting on the reconstruction of the current Government.
