Starting today, citizens of Montenegro can check whether their signatures of support are in the database of support for presidential candidates, in the elections scheduled for March 19.

The application can be accessed on the website of the State Electoral Commission (SEC) by clicking on the rubric pruripotpis.me or directly via the web address www.provjeripotpis.me, by entering the unique identification number (JMB) and the number of the voter's ID card.

"The corresponding message is then printed on the screen. If the voter is entered in the database of verified signatures of support, the name of the candidate who has been given a signature of support appears on the application," explained the SEC earlier.

They said that if the voter's data is not in the database, a message with that content will be printed on the screen.

The SEC explained that, in accordance with the Instruction on the method and procedure for checking signatures of support for the electoral list for the election of deputies and the candidate for the President of Montenegro, they entered a part of the signatures in the candidate support database that was sufficient to determine that there are at least 8.101 valid signatures. .

"It may happen that a voter gave a signature of support, but his data is not in the database of verified signatures, bearing in mind that not all signatures are entered into the database, but a part of the signatures sufficient to determine the candidacy", emphasized the SEC.

As they noted, when entering signatures of support for the candidates for president of the country, personal data from the form was entered.

"The SEC did not appreciate the authenticity of the individual signatures of voter support for the candidate, bearing in mind that this action may be subject to graphological interpretations, which is not within the competence of the Commission," they stated earlier in the announcement.
