The delegation of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) laid wreaths at the memorial fountain for the victims of the NATO bombing, who died on this day in 1999 in the town of Murino.
"On that occasion, NATO aviation, along with shelling of infrastructure facilities, killed three children and three adult citizens of Murin, and a number of citizens suffered serious physical injuries," according to the statement of the Democratic People's Party.
The DNP said that they will always "remember with reverence the innocent victims of the NATO bombing in Murin and other cities of Montenegro and the surrounding area, who fell because of the unreasonable policy of the Western powers, because of which many lives were lost in Montenegro and Serbia, and both countries suffered unprecedented destruction of numerous infrastructure facilities and roads".
They add that they remain of the opinion that peace in the world has no price, and that only a peaceful policy can lead to the progress of all humanity in a bipolar world, with a balanced policy in favor of the peace of all peoples and nations.
"The delegation in Murin included Democratic Front deputy Milun Zogović, DNP spokesperson Jovana Todorović, president of the OO DNP Berane Boris Boričić, vice-president of the Municipality of Danilovgrad (DNP Danilovgrad) Marija Radonjić, president of the DNP Youth Club Nemanja Baošić, member of the OO DNP Budva Radko Garčević , member of the OO DNP Berane Dragan Kiković, members of the GO DNP Milonja Grozdanić and Jovan Sinanović and the head of the committee club DF SO Plav Boris Turković", the announcement concludes.
