The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) will probably participate in the parliamentary elections in a coalition, and the final agreement on this should be reached by Friday, "Vijesti" has learned.
On the other hand, the parties of the parliamentary majority are still negotiating "winning combinations" and some of them are not giving up on the idea of postponing the elections, while the Europe Now Movement (PES) will most likely not finish talks with civic lists and several smaller parties about a joint list before the weekend.
MP lists are submitted by midnight on Tuesday, and according to "Vijesti" information on that day, most parties will submit them to the State Election Commission.
When it comes to the DPS, its officials reached an agreement in principle on a joint list with the Social Democrats (SD), the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Liberal Party (LP) and most likely the Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA). It was unofficially confirmed to "Vijesti" that the agreement is close, but that everything will most likely be known by Friday.

In the SDP, which previously decided to go to the elections on its own, the final decision is made on Friday when the Presidency and the Main Committee of the party. Yesterday, they neither confirmed nor denied that they will participate in the state elections with their old coalition partners, and one of the sources said that the party could, however, go out on its own with a group of independent intellectuals.
Earlier, the SD also announced that they could go to the elections themselves, while the LP called for the formation of a so-called sovereignist bloc.
Yesterday, the DUA was also not ready to comment on the decision on the way to go to the elections, stating that they will decide on it yet.
When it comes to PES, they are currently "listening" to the expectations and requests of those, for whom they announced after the Main Board that they could perform together. These are the political forces that supported the presidential elections Jakov Milatović.
These are CIVIS (now in coalition with GP URA), Party of Justice and Reconciliation, as well as lists from Herceg Novi, Tivat, Bar... but also United Montenegro. Except for the Bokeš Forum and SPP, of which he is the leader Seid Hadzic recently confirmed for "Vijesti" that, as he said, they presented their expectations to PES and that information on the final agreement is expected in the coming days, the others were not ready for an official discussion on this topic.
President of the Bokeh Forum Andrija Petkovic he told "Vijesti" that they "had contacts with certain political options" of civic orientation and that they had not yet spoken with PES:
"Due to our and their agreement and fair play, they would not come out with a final position. We will certainly go to the elections, at least as voters, but we have not decided whether we will be on a list. The BF Assembly, which will give guidelines, and then the Main Board, which adopts all decisions by a two-thirds majority, will give the final word," he said.
Petković reminds that they have branches in Tivat, Herceg Novi and Kotor. "Even if we are not on a list, it does not mean that we will not support anyone... During the conversation, we do not condition anyone, we are not greedy, it is important that it is a civil option. "Before the presidential elections, I talked privately with Jakov Milatović about further cooperation at the state level, but now we haven't," he said.
When it comes to the Democratic Front, it is certain that the holder of their list will be a member of the Presidency and the leader of the Democratic People's Party (DNP). Milan Knezevic, as well as that the president of Nova Andrija Mandic to be in her top. It is still being negotiated how many parliamentary seats the Movement for Change will get, which definitely remains on the list, while one seat will go to it Maksim Vučinić (Workers' Party).
PZP is currently certain of two seats, which is seen as humiliating in that party. Their ambassador Nikola Bajčetić bhe told "Vijesti" yesterday that "the leaders of the DF are in intensive communication about the modalities of going to the elections".
"We will make those decisions this week. If the election is postponed, it should be the subject of the broadest consensus and consultation with the President of the country Milatović," he told "Vijesta".
Although Mandić advocated that the Socialist People's Party (SNP) and Marko Milacic (The right of Montenegro) should have remained in the alliance, as in the previous elections, there is nothing to it. Both of them are criticized for not following the policy of the Coalition for the Future of Montenegro, so Knežević did not agree with that.
According to the vice president, the SNP Dragoslav Šćekića is preparing for the elections, although the party has not made a decision on the way it will perform.
"We at all party bodies have decided to start a pre-election campaign in terms of collecting signatures for the application list and submitting proposals from local committees. We are preparing for an independent performance, even though the party bodies discussed the best way to go to them. We are not afraid of independent performance, on the contrary, regardless of the fact that some subjects are promoting the thesis that we will not pass the census, it is only an attempt to sway our sympathizers. We will go alone if there is no agreement", he told "Vijesta".

The SNP was interested, as can be seen from the interlocutor's statement, in an alliance with the GP URA and the Democrats. However, "Vijesti" was told by the Democrats that they were not ready for that and that formal negotiations had not even been opened.
And while the DF does not advocate postponing the elections, believing that they are certain, part of the parliamentary alliance is still counting on it and expecting their postponement. An attempt is underway to convince the Bosniak party to support the initiative to postpone the elections, and in the previous days there were consultations to schedule a new session of the Assembly in this regard, several sources said.
It is also still calculated that on Friday the Constitutional Court could judge the changes to the Law on the President as illegal, which would mean postponing the "unconstitutionally scheduled" elections on June 11.
"Vijesti" announced that the Constitutional Court will start the procedure on Friday, but that it will not make a decision about it, and that even if that happens, the Court's decision will not affect the calling of elections because it is not the subject of the contested law.
BS previously announced an independent election, and a decision on this is expected during the weekend.
Šćekić: Anti-mafia bloc, no one must bring DPS back through the back door
Dragoslav Šćekić, who is also the Minister of Health, advocated the formation of a centrist, i.e. so-called "anti-mafia bloc", advocated by both Demokarta and GP URA.
"After 30 years and non-agreed government, we cannot say that everything is over with her removal. Everyone who is pro-European and on the road to the recovery of the state and institutions must have a measure of responsibility, without vanity and big ambitions. When we look at the political scene, we can see that the future government cannot be made up of just one party, but that it will be made up of several subjects and coalitions. "It is better to think in time so that steps are taken in the right direction and a government is formed after the elections," he said.
The vice-president of the SNP confirmed that that party had no formal talks with the Democrats and GP URA. "It is true what some subjects said that there were no formal talks, there are always informal ones, but they do not make the final decision. I believe that this time requires serious people, that the common good should be above individual and individual interests. If the elections are not postponed, I believe that they will react quickly and think in that direction," he said.
Šćekić is of the opinion that, as he said, "an anti-mafia bloc should be formed, headed by those who carried out those activities in the previous period".
"First of all, the current prime minister and all political subjects who are currently in the government, which works against organized crime and corruption and where the results are shown. It is necessary to form a pro-European, centrist block of civil parties that would form a government, in order to continue the fight against organized crime and corruption, to continue increasing the standards of citizens... Although DPS has been defeated, we will not allow DPS to be DPS after DPS. That is, that tycoons and criminal organizations lead politics and influence the processes, that certain subjects or some new leaders are in the background of those organizations and their desire to create politics," Šćekić said.
"We are just thinking more responsibly and seriously about the future of Montenegro and our citizens, because the future functioning of institutions and every citizen depends on the decisions and form of the Government, because after 30 years no one can play with the trust of the citizens, bombard them with populism, and even worse that he is bringing back the DPS and the tycoons who demolished Montenegro in every sense," said the interlocutor.
