The New Serbian Democracy (Nova), the Democratic People's Party (DNP) and the Workers' Party (RP) submitted the coalition list for the extraordinary parliamentary elections on June 11 to the State Election Commission (SEC) this evening.
They will participate in the elections with a list called "For the future of Montenegro".
DNP leader Milan Knežević, as previously announced, will be the holder of the list.
Next is the president of Nova Andrija Mandić, and then Simonida Kordić.
The handover of the list was attended by DNP vice-president Maja Vukićević, Nova functionary Simonida Kordić and RP leader Maksim Vučinić.
During the presentation of the list, Vukićević said that they had over 18 signatures.
"We hope that this list will be confirmed as soon as possible," Vukićević said.
After submitting the list, Kordić said that they expect to receive strong support from the voters and that they will form a coalition that will be the backbone of the government.
"After these elections, Montenegro should enter a period of stability, economic recovery and development. We expect that the voters will make clear their position on certain intentions of certain centers outside of Montenegro with their votes to the Coalition for the Future of Montenegro (ZBCG), to eventually form government in a political spectrum that would only consist of the Europe Now Movement (PES) and the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the ZBCG Coalition represents people who have knowledge and experience and who alone can meet the expectations of the citizens. We will be the bearer of the future executive power and we will realize all the expectations that citizens have. The holder of the list is Mr. Milan Knežević, followed by Mr. Andrija Mandić, I am the third. There are some well-known people, with authority and experience. We also left room for new, young forces, who followed us successfully," she said is Kordic.
