SPP Presidency: Hadžić does not appear as our representative on the list of PES

The Presidency of the Justice and Reconciliation Party (SPP) reacted to the text The president of SPP and two vice-presidents resigned.

The SPP confirms that the former president of this party, Seid Hadžić, has resigned from this position, and they claim that he misled the Presidency at the same time.

They state that, although as they say, there is speculation about Hadžić's positions within the SPP and on the list of the "Europe Sad" Movement did not want to go public with the details before the official meeting with the PES representatives, which took place yesterday.

"After the conversation and completion of mutual knowledge, we want to inform the public about important facts related to this case. First of all, we would like to inform the public that Seid Hadžić, the current president of the party, after the honorable offer of the rest of the presidency, resigned from that position, and it was unanimously accepted. The reasons are a gross violation of the party's statutes and actions contrary to the conclusions and recommendations of the party's presidency for a long period of time, which culminated in the last month with Hadžić's deception towards our party.

Namely, Seid Hadžić, contrary to the decisions of the SPP presidency, nominated himself as a candidate on the PES list, while at the same time misleading the presidency that he even had contact with the PES leadership, with the excuses that the movement is under a state of emergency due to personal disagreements and because of such a situation it is not possible to organize negotiations, which never took place due to the fact that our competent negotiating team was excluded from them.

It is not clear to us who is the source of the information that conveyed to the Vijesti portal that Seid Hadžić was nominated by the presidency for a position on the PES list ahead of the SPP, because this is a gross and notorious untruth.

The truth is the following, Seid Hadžić himself, guided by an earlier unanimous agreement within the party, proposed Hazbija Kalač as the first name that should be on the list for a deputy in the Parliament of Montenegro ahead of the SPP, which was unanimously accepted with the exception of Kalač himself who did not want to to make a statement on the matter. Our Honorable President left that decision to the Presidency with the suggestion that he would respect any agreement reached.

The information you conveyed that Seid Hadžić, Aldin Muratović and Dalila Nišić resigned because the decision of the presidency on the election of Hadžić as the head of the SPP was allegedly not respected is simply not true, as they were all listed and explained in the written resignations submitted to the party, where not a single word it does not mention that phantom reason given in your text.

What needs to be emphasized is that at the session of the Presidency on May 16, before submitting the list to the SEC, and after learning that Hadžić was on the PES list, in addition to accepting Hadžić's resignation offer, the decision was also adopted that Seid Hadžić would not represent SPP on the list. According to the claims of the PES leader, he is not even a "Europe Now" candidate on that list, which leads us to the conclusion that Seid Hadžić, through gross abuse of the position he held, gained his eventual position as a member of the Parliament of Montenegro through abuse and manipulation for personal interest.
