The Government announced that Prime Minister Dritan Abazović was invited to give a lecture at Oxford.
"After lectures held at the most prestigious universities in the world, such as Cambridge, Harvard, Columbia, Lumsa, Prime Minister Abazović was invited to give a lecture at Oxford University, the oldest in the Anglophone world. The President of the Oxford Union, Matthew Dick, sent an invitation to the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dr. Dritan Abazović to hold a lecture at the oldest and largest student society at the University of Oxford, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year," the Government announced.
The invitation letter states, as it is added, that throughout history they have hosted world leaders such as American Presidents Reagan, Nixon, Carter and Clinton, Sir Winston Churchill, the Dalai Lama, and Queen Elizabeth II.
"As part of these celebrations, it would be our great honor to welcome you to the Oxford Union to address our members on Tuesday, May 23. It would be especially interesting for our members to hear about Montenegro's efforts to join the EU and foreign policy the point of view that your country takes after the Russian aggression on the continent," concludes the invitation letter to Matthew Dick, president of the Oxford Union, according to the Government.
