The Justice and Reconciliation Party (SPP) has withdrawn its support for the Europe Now Movement (PES) as an unreliable partner that is clearly trying to bring under its control not only individuals but also entire parties.
This decision was made at today's session of the Main Board of SPP.
The main committee also made a unanimous decision to exclude SPP president Seid Hadžić from the assembly due to, as they said, gross abuse of office, distribution of untrue information for personal gain and numerous violations of the party's statutes, all of which led to damage to the party's reputation and the loss of SPP's parliamentary status. .

The press release states that an analysis of events in the last month has established from several sources, including PES officials, that Hadžić acted on his own initiative against his will and against the decisions of the party, and according to some information in cooperation with certain PES officials, I delegated myself to the position which was agreed in principle for the SPP on the PES list for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
"Using public appearances in the PES in the last month, Hadžić defrauded the leadership of the SPP and the role of negotiator on behalf of the party illegally and, despite the decisions of the party, took it exclusively on himself, as was confirmed to us by some PES officials. Having all the above and much more , the main committee of the SPP unanimously made a decision to exclude Hadžić from the party, as well as confirming the earlier decision of the presidency that Hadžić does not represent the SPP on the PES list as a candidate for deputy in the Parliament of Montenegro," the announcement reads.
When it comes to the withdrawal of support for PES, the SPP states that they have analyzed all available information about the role of certain PES officials, the unprofessional attitude of the top of the party, "well, we can freely say, and the blackmailing of that movement in connection with the selection of the name of the SPP candidate on their list".
"By a unanimous decision of the General Assembly, it was decided that the party withdraws its support for that Movement as an unreliable partner that is obviously trying to bring under its control not only individuals but also entire parties, and as the SPP represents the interests of the Bosniak people above all, the slightest form of blackmail is absolutely unacceptable whom, and that movement won 80 percent of the votes in the next elections. Bosniaks are not for sale, they do not agree to blackmail and they do not agree to someone else appointing the personalities who will represent them," the announcement reads.
They point out that DPS has been trying to do this for ten years and failed, and that it is not clear to them on what basis they in PES thought that they could do it too.
"Unfortunately, after extremely correct cooperation with the now president of the state, Mr. Jakov Milatović, during the presidential campaign, this time colleagues from PES behaved extremely improperly, which certainly cannot be accepted by SPP".
Nevertheless, at the session of the General Assembly, it was emphasized that supporting Milatović was the right move and that based on his work so far, the president of the country deserves their support.
"At today's session, the General Assembly transferred the authority to the party presidency to conduct interviews for interested lists that have been confirmed by the SEC, about which the public will be informed in a timely manner. The events of the past few days have certainly caused enormous damage to the party, which according to all indicators far surpasses census for minority parties and left us without a parliamentary mandate for the next four years, but since we are not in politics for personal interests, which is best proven by this whole case, we continue our political activities with a clean face, with even more determination and as never before convinced that we will in the coming period, find a way to articulate our political position in the parliament through cooperation with other parties, and we will never allow petty manipulators or blackmail from the big ones to determine our position or our efforts. SPP is a pillar of free Bosniak thought in Montenegro and will remain so." , the announcement concludes.
