Our position is unique and there is no misunderstanding within the Justice and Reconciliation Party (SPP), but there is absolute determination not to allow you to impose representatives on us and misuse the name of our party, SPP told the Europe Now Movement.
SPP withdrew its support for PES yesterday and announced that it is an unreliable partner that is trying to bring the entire party under control. They also said that due to abuse of office, the previous president Seid Hadžić was expelled from the party, who "against his will and against the decisions of the party on his own initiative, and according to some information in cooperation with certain PES officials, I delegated myself to the position that was agreed in principle for the SPP on the list PES for the upcoming parliamentary elections".
PES then said that they regret the misunderstanding within the SPP, but that they have no responsibility for it.

SPP says that they were the first to show confidence in the non-parliamentary PES and supported their candidate for president at a time when no one wanted to do it after the elimination of Milojko Spajić from the race.
"It is not true that you 'accepted' the recent president of our party to be on the list because he was never nominated by the SPP. You appointed him to that position in agreement with him and not with the party, from whom you skillfully hid it. , and you and him. We, ladies and gentlemen from the Europe Now Movement, long before you had such offers from authoritative regimes to impose on us persons who will represent our party and ultimately the Bosniak people, but since we are not someone who would and leadership positions sold the ideals and belief in the equality of citizens even then, and as you can see even today, we do not accept that undemocratic and anti-European practice," the SPP statement reads.
They point out that PES would have accepted the unanimous decision of the SPP Presidency if it wanted to show a correct relationship, which is in contradiction with what, they claim, they wanted to impose on them.
"By replacing theses, you are trying to mislead the public, aware that in front of the public you do not have an adequate answer to the facts that we have communicated. There was no 'misunderstanding' in SPP, as you are trying to present it, but a classic abuse of position, which you were aware of at the time and which you ignored and which some of your officials, now it is more than clear, wholeheartedly helped in order, we repeat, to gain control over us through that person. That this is true is also proven by the fact that the Party of Justice and Reconciliation is better than all other non-parliamentary parties that found on your list, she was the only one who got only one place without the possibility of replacing that person. So, only one person was suitable and acceptable to you. There is a lot of evidence, but we will talk about that another time if there is a need for it," said SPP.
They say that after everything, they no longer trust their "sincere intentions" to help anyone, which is why they canceled their support.
"SPP, as you yourself have pointed out many times, is a pillar of free Bosniak thought in Montenegro. We are a party that has not sold itself even to much more powerful political players because you cannot buy us, you cannot scare us and you cannot calculate us. All that "What impressed you about us until now will remain ideals in the coming period, as long as we exist. And no matter how strong and powerful you feel at this moment, everything that is built on manipulations will fall very quickly," the announcement concludes.
