Milačić: The People's Coalition will advocate for the formation of the Ministry for Family Care

The People's Coalition will advocate for the formation of the Ministry for Family Care, said Marko Milačić, President of Prava Montenegro, Member of the Parliament and candidate for Member of Parliament on the list of "People's Coalition - Unanimous".

As stated in the announcement of this coalition, Milacic, speaking about the priorities, emphasized that one of the main ones that the coalition stands for is a healthy and happy family.

"Montenegro must finally focus on the family, and these are key policies for the development of Montenegro, for the future of this country, for the children of every citizen in Montenegro, and that is why we will offer a series of concrete measures in this regard," added Milačić.

He pointed out that the People's Coalition should submit to the Parliamentary procedure a proposal for amendments to the Law on Social and Child Protection, which refers to encouraging births in order to reduce the decline in natural growth.

"The essence of this change is the introduction of compensation for the second-born, third-born, fourth-born and every subsequent child. For the second-born child, a compensation in the amount of 2.400 euros is allocated, which will be paid in 24 equal monthly installments in the amount of 100 euros each. For the third-born child, a compensation is allocated compensation in the amount of EUR 9.000, which will be paid in 60 equal monthly installments (five years) in the amount of EUR 150. For the fourth born and each subsequent child, compensation in the amount of EUR 12.000 is allocated, which will be paid in 60 equal monthly installments ( five years) in the amount of 200 euros each," Milacic explained.

He emphasized that this is a true pro-natal policy.

"This is not populism, but what will in the long term encourage citizens to give birth. This is the main thing for this country, where fewer and fewer children are born and where, unfortunately, more and more young people leave. This is one of the key things, care , the priority of our People's Coalition," he said.

Dejan Vukšić, the holder of the list of "People's Coalition - Full and Full", as written in the announcement, said that he believes and that everyone in the coalition believes that it is time to show unity.

"This was shown above all by the magnificent processions, and we are trying to contribute to reconciliation by forming the People's Coalition. When it comes to our coalition, we have been working for a relatively long time on the formation of the same list of priorities when it comes to solutions to the most important tasks that stand before us and which are of decisive importance when it comes to Montenegro as our country," added Vukšić.

Maja Mršulja, member of the presidency of the Democratic Serbian Party and president of the Assembly of Kotor, said that "the wheel of democratic changes in society started from Boka Kotor and from Kotor even before the big victory in 2020".

"We have shown how the decades-old system of distorted values ​​can be defeated, which suited only that interest-related group, and now the former and irretrievably lost. The electoral list of our coalition includes people from Boka, honorable people, family and professional achievers, and people of clean biography.
