The Socialist People's Party (SNP) advocates for the provision of extended stay in schools for children up to the fourth grade of primary school, as well as for parental sick leave due to illness of a child up to 14 years of age to be paid 100 percent.
This is stated in the announcement of the SNP.
"We stand for a modern, sustainable and accessible system of preschool and elementary education, which will enable both parents and children to go through this process in the best possible way," the SNP statement added.
We support the fact that, starting from the next school year, primary school students will study media literacy as an optional subject, because we believe that this is a step in a positive direction and one of the ways to prepare children to navigate the modern world as best as possible.
"Taking into account all the challenges, but also the consequences of the modern way of life, the SNP advocates the re-introduction of home economics as a compulsory or at least an optional subject in primary schools," the announcement states.
