Turkey is an important partner for the countries of the Balkans and everyone notices how much progress it is making, especially in fields that are also important for Montenegro, such as economy, tourism and large infrastructure projects, said the president of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), Andrija Mandic.
He congratulated the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on his victory in the presidential elections.
"I congratulate you on your election victory in the Republic of Turkey and I wish you to continue to perform the function of the president of your country as successfully as you did before," said Mandić.
He added that Montenegro needs good relations with Turkey and more effective cooperation on those ideas which, as he believes, will surely improve the standard of citizens in the future and make the country more economically stable.
"I believe that a strong Turkey, with you at the head, also means a better Europe in terms of opening new perspectives for the development of this part of the world to which we belong. In this behalf, please accept the expressions of my high regard," Mandić said in the congratulatory message.
