Acting President of the Democratic Party of Socialists Danijel Živković, holder of the coalition list "Together! For the future that belongs to you", he said that without that coalition there is no politically stable and truly European government.
"I am sure that after June 11 there is no stable, political and European government without this coalition! I assure you responsibly, as the bearer of this list, Rožajke and Rožajci will be represented in the executive power that will be created in the coming period", said Živković, at the forum held last night in Rožajje.
He said that, "unlike the situation with political opponents", citizens with the coalition of DPS, Social Democrats, Liberal Party and Democratic Union of Albanians, "know what they stand for".
"The voice addressed to this coalition will never be handed over to the altar of betrayal and sale of national interests. And the measure of this government was zero euros for the north of Montenegro," said Živković, as stated in the announcement.
That is why, according to him, the citizens of the north of Montenegro should carefully assess who they will trust in the coming period.
"If we are already thanking you for the 91,3% support for the restoration of statehood, if we are already thanking you for standing firm on the basis of the values to which these policies belong, then it is time to thank you in the right way. By being represented in the executive power and by fighting for your region and for the development of the north of Montenegro," said Živković.
He called on the citizens to, "in order to build a better future for our country", go to the polls and circle the number 10 "with all your heart".
DPS vice-president and MP candidate Jevto Eraković also spoke at the panel, who, as reported, referred to "the statement of a leader of the Europe Now Movement" that "DPS no longer exists and that it is a relic of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia".
"It is clear to all of you how strong we are and how much we exist both in Rožaje and in Montenegro, and that this is only an alibi for coalition with those who deny this state, with those who want to destroy this state and with those who want to destroy the civil character our country. We want to tell him - and to him and others like him - that they have to decide whether they want an anti-fascist view of our country or something else. We know what anti-fascism was in some earlier times, and today it is a different view where we respect each other, we respect differences and where above all we want to preserve civil Montenegro", said Eraković.
The candidate from the list, Seniha Tahirović, said that the upcoming elections are "a chance to return Montenegro to the path of European integration".
"We are witnessing the abyss into which those who decide our fates are leading us in the last two and a half years. As a party, we have already proven that we are socially responsible, that we are a party that stands up for the good of all the citizens of Montenegro, and that we fight and will always fight for our only home - Montenegro," said Tahirović and added.
"What is particularly important to me, in addition to the conditions for the advancement of my students, as the mother of a child with developmental disabilities, is the effort to help such persons in particular. Unfortunately, these people have been completely forgotten and neglected in the last two and a half years. Only those who understand the real needs of citizens can change society for the better," she stated.
She called on June 11 to "give voice to young, educated, experienced and responsible people" who, as she said, will work together to ensure a better life for all citizens of Montenegro.
Candidate for MP and SD spokesman Nikola Zirojević said that in the previous three years "we live in a different Montenegro".
"We live in a very difficult atmosphere in which, because you have a different name or because you worship instead of being baptized, you are kicked out of your homes, an atmosphere in which you do not feel safe with your families. We all know that well, our list holder knows that too, who comes from such an environment where maybe minority peoples, that is - why not say Muslims, have been the most threatened in the past three years", said Zirojević.
He pointed out that Rožaje is a city located on the triple border, "a city from which you can come to neighboring Serbia and neighboring Kosovo", and that "it is a shame that as a city with so much potential it looks the way it does today".
"As much as we Montenegrins think that this is our house and that we contributed the most, we must not forget that here on May 91,3, 21 there were 2006% for YES and that in no other place in Montenegro did we have such a percentage votes for independence like we had in Rozaje", stated Zirojević.
Candidate from the list and member of the Presidency of the LP Ammar Borančić thanked the citizens of Rožaj for, as he said, always being "a solid bulwark of the state of Montenegro, even though it didn't always know how to appreciate it".
"You treated her as your only mother, both in the 2006s and in XNUMX, and to this day, you are a solid dam and defender of civil and multi-ethnic Montenegro," he said.
Borančić then referred to the electoral list itself.
"Young people from our list offer a completely new paradigm of political life in Montenegro. The avant-garde offer of the electoral list is our strong response to the real needs of society and the challenges of this time. This is a principled coalition and we remain the only bright spot that brings together ideas, beliefs and a vision of a different Montenegro", concluded Borančić.
