Danijel Živković, holder of the list "Together! For the future that belongs to you", he said at the forum of that coalition in Kolašin that with the construction of the highway, they opened a new perspective for the development of that municipality, and that they will continue with investments after, as he believes, the victory in the elections
"The policy of this coalition is best illustrated through the example of the construction of a highway, through the example of the construction of a bridge on Moračica, a construction and architectural miracle in this part of Europe. Many wondered where this highway went. This is how our policy built our country, Montenegro, through precisely these regions and through these difficulties. With those difficulties embodied in our political competition that always dragged us back, we managed to build the first section of the highway. I'm telling you now, despite all those who will pull us back, we will also build the second and third sections of the highway," said Živković, as stated in the announcement.
He said that it was precisely the provision of quality infrastructure that enabled the arrival of foreign investors, which resulted in the fact that Kolašin "became one big construction site".
"The construction of four- and five-star hotels will soon begin here, in which, when they are built, the youth of Kolašin will be able to find their future, provide themselves with a quality existence to stay here in Kolašin. Well, wasn't our vision of the development of the North embodied in the fact that young people stay in the North. That the North develops equally as the South and the central region? Did we make it possible by building the first section of the highway? We are. Should we bow down or be ashamed of what we did in the previous period in Montenegro? You don't need to. We need to affirm this with a loud voice in every place", said the acting president of DPS.
He then asked sympathizers of the coalition he leads, among other things, how can someone who does not respect the achievements of 21 May 2006 lead Montenegro
"How can someone who does not respect our sacred symbols, our flag, our coat of arms and our anthem govern Montenegro? How can those who do not consider Montenegro their motherland govern Montenegro? How can they compete and be our political competition, those who cancel all the values of civil, multinational and modern society? How can those who sell fog to you here in Kolašin and try to present themselves as alleged carriers of anti-fascism compete for power? How can anyone present themselves to the citizens as a carrier of public functions, whether he works in the government or local self-government, when he cancels everything that our ancestors did in the previous period of time, and you know that our ancestors bled for the borders of this Montenegro", stated Živković.
He said that such people can never govern Montenegro.
"Whether they are in power today at the state level in a technical mandate or in power here in Kolašin or in some other local governments, don't have any dilemma - that freaky tower of cards will quickly collapse, it's only a matter of time, and we will show them through perseverance, the tenacity of the highlanders that we have shown during this entire period of time, that we will be the ones who will lead Montenegro forward because, unfortunately, there is no one else. Our political competition has not presented itself well to the citizens of Montenegro. Let's give these people who are number 10 a clean ten in the elections, and let's give you a clean ten after the elections," Živković concluded.
Marta Šćepanović, president of the Kolašin board of DPS, pointed out that those who "look at the flag of Montenegro for the sake of order and protocol, as if it were any flag of any country in the world", should know that "they cannot do anything to Montenegro".
"You know who is a gift to this country and who is a curse. I often come back to that old saying 'mind the Montenegrins'. This is a message for all those who for a moment forgot who they are, what they are and where they are, and have seen the last three years, what seems to be happening and where we will end up if this madness does not stop", Šćepanović added.
She said that she knew that "Montenegrins always knew how to make the right choice at a decisive moment", and she called on her fellow citizens to "take their fate into their own hands" on June 11.
"Let's not give away our Montenegro. Let's find the time and patience in the coming week to explain all this, what is happening with Montenegro, to a neighbor, a friend, and a relative. For the sake of Montenegro, for the sake of all of us, for the sake of a secure future in it, let's do everything to make our joint march on June 11 convincing and unattainable. With the June XNUMX, we defend the May YES for Montenegro, which we love," Šćepanović said.
Aleksandra Vuković, candidate for parliament and member of the DPS Presidency, also spoke at the forum.
"Together for Kolašin, as described by Rebecca West in her iconic book 'Black Lamb and Gray Falcon'. Rarity and height. A height that does not tire but challenges. Just as our policy was a rarity in the Western Balkans and a height that our competitors cannot even fathom, even though they break and cling to it when they want to act politely and progressively in front of the world. Kolašin, you are not a small town but a nice one, you are the second city in the world for the excellence of the fresco that is in your monastery and ours in Morač - a raven feeding the prophet Elijah. You are a Montenegrin breakthrough into the world and the bow of Pablo Picasso, with whose words I will end this address to you - "find a situation where work gives you as much happiness as your free time". Let this work of ours be our happiness during the time we will call free. If ten wins on June 11, the perfect number for all of us imperfect people, who the idea together and Montenegro in motion at least brings closer to perfection as an impossible mission. And we are realistic, we are looking for the impossible," said Vuković.
