The People's Coalition will solve the issue of legalization immediately and in a fair way, announced Dejan Vukšić, the leader of the "People's Coalition - Unanimous" list in the parliamentary elections on June 11.
It was announced from the People's Coalition that they held a forum in the Masline neighborhood of Podgorica on the subject of legalization of illegally built buildings.
"They give you bills for which it would take me ten days just to explain the problems of that law, which you cannot even guess in advance. Whoever tells you that it is good for you to pay off some loans, he immediately misleads you and creates a problem for you in advance. Why? Any repayment of any real estate, apartment or any poorly built facility implies the registration of a mortgage for that debt that you will have. And when you are registered with a mortgage, it means that you are limited in the long term. This is completely unacceptable." pointed out Vukšić at the tribune.
He added that those who propose such laws seem to live in castles and have obviously completely reborn.
"They don't understand at all and obviously don't want to understand the psychological issue. Just not solving that issue you have puts you in a situation where you can't function normally, because it's a decades-long mortgage over your head, because you have to think for decades if you're going to solve something or not and whether one day someone will come with excavators to demolish your house. That problem must be solved immediately in a fair way," said Vukšić.
He said that he is from Kotor and that he used to live in Tivat.
"In the 100s, all working families were given the opportunity to purchase apartments under privileged conditions, and my father, who worked at the "Arsenal" overhaul institute, bought a three-room apartment for XNUMX marks at the time, just like the others. Why today, according to a citizen of Montenegro who built building that solves the housing issue, the state would not do the same. I'm talking exclusively about buildings that solve the housing issue, i.e. a roof over your head," said Vukšić.
The candidate for deputy of the list "People's Coalition - One Point" Marko Milačić said that he will not allow such a bill on the legalization of illegal buildings to be adopted.
"When after June 11, as a People's Coalition, we are part of the new convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro, we will pass a fair law on legalization, which will truly be based on the principle of social justice. Together with you, we will make a new law that will be honest, fair and just," he pointed out. is Milacic.
He added that the proposed law of the Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism Ana Novaković Đurović of the URA Civil Movement is harmful.
"This issue, which, as far as I can see, is only dealt with by the People's Coalition is one of the biggest issues in Montenegro, given that the issue of legalization of illegal buildings directly and indirectly affects a huge number of citizens. That is why the concept of the People's Coalition, unlike the harmful proposal of Minister Novaković, based on strong positive discrimination regarding the legalization of illegal buildings in terms of solving the housing issue of a large number of people in Montenegro who barely make ends meet. The People's Coalition does not want and will not allow new mortgages over the heads and souls of the poorest," said Milačić.
Vladislav Dajković, a candidate for deputy from the "People's Coalition - Složno i tačka" list, said that few people in the public comment on the fact that this law stipulates that, if you do not start the legalization process within six months, your house will be demolished.
"And the fact that you don't have the money to pay according to these abnormal price lists, according to which a square meter of land, for example, on Mali Brdo, on land that is classified as rocky, is 132 euros. You and most of those who live in illegal buildings did not build houses on whim and caprice I completely understand that those who want to legalize a building with, say, five floors for free, or an illegally built hotel on the coast, should not be privileged, but if a building is a basic residential building where a two-, three-, four-member or larger family lives, which only has that, legalization must and will be free. If the state has money for those who stole this country, it must also have money for the legalization of a roof over their heads," said Dajković.
