Montenegro is in a complete institutional and security chaos, said candidate for deputy of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Bojan Zeković, stating that one man is trying to undermine the security sector for a few hundred votes.

Zeković, at the press conference, said that such a trampling of institutions has never been seen in Montenegro.

"The situation in the country is such that we have a complete paralysis of the security sector and one man is trying to throw it under his feet in order to get a few hundred votes in the last phase of the election," Zeković added.

He said that it is clear what the government of those structures would look like after the elections.

According to Zeković, the upcoming elections can be decisive for the development of Montenegro.

"That's why it's important that no sovereignty vote is thrown because there is a chance that some won't pass the census, and others because, as has already been announced, no one will deal with them because of their past sins," Zeković said.

He said that only the SDP can provide stability to the state, guarantee the European path, and be a desirable partner for international structures.

Zeković said that the leader of the Europe Movement now, Milojko Spajić, should answer if he is guilty of what he is accused of.

As he stated, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović did not convene a session of the National Security Council when his first associate, Rada Milosevic, was arrested.

"Neither because of the situation in Cetinje, nor when the assistant director of the police was arrested, nor when the directors of the Police Directorate and the National Security Agency were dismissed, but when he received the letter a few days before the election," Zeković added.

He said that five to ten percent of support for the SDP is much more important for the stability of the country, development and the European path.

The general secretary of the SDP, Ivan Vujović, said that this party is the only sovereignist party that, with strong international support, "can be part of the future, hopefully European government."

"I call on everyone who has voted for the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) to strongly support the SDP, because only a strong SDP is the guarantor of the future European path of Montenegro, stable and serious politics and strong protection of Montenegrin interests," said Vujović.

He said that the vote for DPS was wasted because, as he stated, that party has no coalition capacity.
