As a representative of 24 out of 26 associations, which authorized me to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation, I condemn the act of Ivan Vukčević and Vojislav Delic, reject their allegations and announce appropriate lawsuits and criminal charges.
This was said by Boris Marđonović from the Chamber of Crafts of Montenegro. He reacted after the Chamber of Crafts, in a statement signed by Ivan Vukčević, president of the Chamber of Crafts, and Vojislav Delić, executive director, stated that the Chamber did not sign any Memorandum of Understanding with the Electoral List of the coalition "Together", led by the Democratic Party Socialist Party (DPS) nor with any other political party or movement.
Before that, it was announced from the DPS that the candidate for deputy and member of that party, Aleksandar Bogdanović, signed a memorandum of understanding with the representative of 24 craft associations, Boris Marđonović.
We transmit Marđonović's reaction in its entirety...
"Messrs. Ivan Vukčević and Vojislav Delić made an arbitrary change in the CRPS by trampling on the statutes and falsifying minutes and signatures and are trying to usurp functions in the public institution, the Chamber of Crafts of Montenegro, with the support of the Minister of Economic Discord, Goran Đurović.
As a representative of 24 of the 26 associations, which authorized me to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation, I condemn their act, reject the allegations and announce the appropriate lawsuits and criminal charges.
I emphasize that these two delegates have already been denied once on the same topic on February 7th, and that then the entire transcript of the voting procedure was published.
The majority, democratic and transparent decision to sign the Memorandum on cooperation with all interested parties for the purpose of passing the new Law on Crafts, which the Government representatives rejected at the Working Group, cannot be withdrawn arbitrarily, especially not on the basis of the minister's pre-election promise in the technical mandate to award offices of the Chamber of Crafts in the same Ministry.
Craftsmen in Montenegro do not ask anyone for help and do not accept alms. They identify problems and needs, propose solutions and act with one voice. This means that they were asked about every decision and that every decision was adopted by majority will. Acting with one voice does not mean unanimous decision-making, but a democratic act of a consolidated economy. If the decision-makers then reject or ignore them, the consolidated economy brings position papers, seeks contacts with deputies and rewards or punishes their attitude in the elections.
Mr. Vukčević and Mr. Delić can only speak on behalf of their associations, and never on behalf of the JU Chamber of Crafts, because elections have not been held in that Chamber according to the statute since the founding assembly in 2012, and the results of provisional elections, organized by the Ministry of Economy in 2021. are null and void, because the Agreement with the then Minister of Economy Jakov Milatović dated August 31.08.2021, XNUMX was violated. as well as the agreement at the Working Group to adopt a new Law on Crafts.
The personal reasons of dissatisfied individuals, who do not respect democratic procedures, avoid regular elections for the artisan parliament and consultations with all members of the board of directors, cannot influence the decisions of other associations, and especially not to cooperate with those parties, which understand and support the needs of artisans and the importance of social partnerships. We treated all parties in Montenegro equally, we sent everyone the same Memorandum on October 13, 2022, and it is logical that artisans will vote only for those parties, which have publicly pledged to bring them good," says Marđonović.
