High-ranking official of Democratic Montenegro Dragan Tufegdžić resigned from all party positions, it was confirmed by "Vijesta" from Demokrat.
The party said that he did it for personal reasons, but that he will remain a member of the Democrats.
"I resigned for personal reasons and plans. I believe that no office should last forever and that this should be the meaning of political activity. If this is the meaning of any socio-political activism, then nothing makes sense. That's what I always thought, said and now I hope and confirmed. There are no quarrels, but friendly relations. I am in the Democrats, in the highest political positions, I hope I contributed at least a little to the changes in 2020 and this in the presidential elections. People like sensations, but there are none here. I was before I am a free man and I wish good luck to Aleksa and the Democrats. I remain a member of Democratic Montenegro," the resignation states.
The Post of Montenegro announced yesterday that Tufegdžić's mandate as director of that company has ended at his personal request. Josip Đurašković was appointed as the new director. Tufegdžić, as reported, stated in the request that he was stepping down from the position of executive director for personal reasons.
