MEC Tivat rejected all 11 objections of SDP

The Municipal Election Commission (MEC) of Tivat at tonight's session rejected as unfounded all 11 objections submitted by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to the work of the election committees in that city.

According to the provisional results of the parliamentary elections held on Sunday, determined by the State Election Commission (SEC), the SDP was left without parliamentary status, as 8.750 voters (2,90 percent) voted for them.

SDP General Secretary Ivan Vujović announced yesterday that the party submitted objections to the municipal election commissions (MEC) due to discrepancies in the number of voters who exercised their right to vote, the number of ballots and the number of coupons at several polling stations in Rožaje, Bijelo Polje, Ulcinj, Cetinje and Tivat. .

On June 13, Vujović said that they were receiving reports that they had been stolen during the counting of votes, and that they would request a recount.
