The Social Democratic Party of Montenegro (SDP) told the Tivat Municipal Election Commission (MEC) to stop obstructing the control of the election process.
They said that they established in a large number of examples that the electoral process "abounded in irregularities" and, as they claim, stealing votes from the SDP, through the fabrication of the famous so-called invalid tickets.
"Today, the Municipal Election Commission of Tivat illegally refused the request that SDP representatives inspect the electoral material regarding the objections we submitted to the election procedure in this municipality," said the party.
As they say, they received an explanation from the MEC that they do not have the right to further view the material.
"After yesterday, due to alleged fatigue, they stopped checking the election documents and that was before considering the materials from polling station No. 15," SDP added.
Those parties also expressed the hope that they have nothing to hide from the MEC.
"We hope that it will enable us to realize our legal right, so that we are not forced to realize the same through the SEC", they concluded.
